The five things people ask.
If the answer you need is not here, send us the part and we will tell you what to print it in.
Ask about a part- Q1
What does the price per 100 g include?
Material only. The quote adds print time and finishing on top, which is why two parts of the same weight can cost different amounts. You see the full price before you order — there is no quote form.
- Q2
Which material should I choose for a part that lives outdoors?
PETG. It is tougher than PLA, slightly flexible, and takes heat and damp without warping. PLA is for indoor parts — it softens in a hot car and goes brittle in sun.
- Q3
What is the difference between PLA and PLA Matte?
Price, nothing else — they cost the same per 100 g. Matte has no shine at all and hides layer lines better than anything else we run, so it suits display pieces; plain PLA holds fine detail slightly better.
- Q4
Is PLA Galaxy glitter?
No. It is glass microspheres compounded through deep violet, which scatter a blue sheen across the surface rather than sparkling as flakes. PLA Marble works the same way — the stone speckle runs through the whole part, it is not a coat on the outside.
- Q5
Can I order a colour that is on order?
Yes. Back-ordered shades are flagged before you commit to one, so you always know which of the 35 colours are on the shelf and which have to come in first. Everything in stock is dispatched within 48 hours.
