Which material is best for a tissue box, PLA or PETG?
The choice of material depends on the placement. PLA is great for ordinary interiors where it is not exposed to direct sunlight or high humidity. PETG is more suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, or outdoor covered areas, as it better resists moisture and has higher temperature resistance. Both materials are durable and easy to maintain.
Is this box suitable for bathrooms or humid environments?
For bathrooms and humid environments, we recommend choosing the PETG filament variant. PETG is known for its higher resistance to moisture and common chemicals, ensuring a longer lifespan and better appearance in such conditions. The PLA variant might be more susceptible to degradation in the long run.
How is a 3D printed tissue box maintained and cleaned?
Maintenance is very simple. The box just needs to be regularly wiped with a damp cloth, possibly with a small amount of mild soap. It is important not to use abrasive cleaning agents or harsh sponges, which could scratch the surface. After cleaning, we recommend drying the box.
