What material is used to produce the Heart Gift Box?
The Heart Box is typically made from PLA (Polylactic Acid) filament, which is plant-based and biodegradable. This material is environmentally friendly and ideal for interior decorations and accessories. Upon customer request, PETG can also be chosen for higher durability.
Is the Heart Gift Box suitable for contact with food?
Although PLA material is considered safe, our Heart Gift Box is not primarily intended for direct contact with unpackaged food. Its surface may have microscopic irregularities from 3D printing that make hygienic cleaning difficult. We recommend using it for packaged sweets or other non-edible small items.
Can the Heart Box be exposed to direct sunlight or high temperatures?
The PLA Heart Box is not designed for prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures (above 60 °C). PLA can lose its shape or color under these conditions. For outdoor use or environments with higher temperatures, we recommend choosing the PETG filament variant, which is more resistant to these factors.
How should the Heart Gift Box be maintained to last a long time?
To preserve the beauty of the Heart Gift Box, simply wipe it regularly with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents or solvents, which could damage the material's surface. With proper care, the box will serve as a decoration for many years.
