What is the difference between PLA and PETG filament for this vase?
PLA is a biodegradable material suitable for indoor use; it's strong and easy to print. PETG is more resistant to higher temperatures and humidity, has better mechanical properties, and is recyclable, making it more suitable for outdoor use or high-stress areas. Both materials are suitable for an indoor vase.
Will the Vanta vase withstand outdoor conditions or direct sun?
The vase is primarily intended for indoor use. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures, especially for the PLA variant, may lead to slight deformation or color change. For outdoor use, we recommend choosing the PETG filament variant, which offers higher resistance.
Can water be poured into the vase for fresh flowers?
This vase is primarily intended for dry decorations, such as dried flowers, artificial plants, or grasses. Due to 3D printing technology and potential material microporosity, 100% watertightness is not guaranteed. If you plan to use the vase with water, we recommend using an internal glass liner.
